Dr. Anil Kumar from central university of Punjab raised the awareness about the importance of screening for inherited disorders of blood and the benefits of blood transfusion for the children affected with these disorders. Further Dr. Anil Kumar also shared the objectives of ‘‘Mission Program on Rare Pediatric Genetic Disorders” PRaGeD and how it helps parents/families of children affected with rare genetic disorders. He appealed the citizens to come forward and support this initiative.
